《牛津小学英语》 6A 第二单元第一课时
一、设计思路
本课主要围绕“公共标志”这个话题开展各项活动，所涉及到的日常交际项目有介绍、询问、忠告和建议等。其中，以“询问公共标志含义”及其应答为重点内容。学生们在日常生活中对“公共标志”并不陌生，但作为一个话题讨论是会有一定困难的。为了使学生更好地掌握本课的学习内容，在教学过程中要考虑学生的年龄特点，充分利用多媒体课件、图片、简笔画等手段，运用形象化的语言和动作，使所学内容更贴近学生的生活，激发学生的学习兴趣，提高学生参与语言活动的积极性。
全方位研究课堂，提高课堂教学效率：让课堂成为学习的乐园；让课堂成为展示的舞台；让课堂成为合作的团队。小学英语教学的基本原则包括交际性原则、听说领先的原则、情景教学原则和趣味性教学原则。 因此在教学中应多层次研究学生，培养学生的综合语言运用能力。在本课中我注重利用趣味性教学原则，力求使本课生动、有趣，容易让学生接受。因此在设计的过程中我预备做一些活泼可爱的课件，再加入一些简笔画的元素，让学生在身心愉悦的状态下轻松的接受本课知识。同时，我还注意提高学生自主学习的能力，所以在教学过程中我会多给学生提供练习和自编对话的环节，把“要我学”变成“我要学”。总之，兴趣是最好的老师；鼓励是最好的手段；让学生有成功的体验；为学生自主学习提供帮助和机会。
这就是我对本节课的一些设计理念。
二、教学目标
根据小学生的心理和生理特征以及发展需求，小学阶段的英语课程的目的是激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养他们英语学习的积极态度，使他们建立初步的英语学习的自信心；培养学生一定的语感和良好语音、语调基础。六年级的学生他们已经能够进行简单的会话，掌握了一定的词汇，所以我认为在原先的基础上，他们本节课还应达到以下目标：
（一）知识目标
1. 能正确地听，说，读，写单词mean，must，should，shouldn’t
2. 能正确地听，说，读，写句型What does it/this/that mean?
It means you/we must/should/shouldn’t…
3. 能正确地听，说，读单词及词组public, sign, danger, away, grass, keep off, quiet, make noise, smoke, litter

能够运用所学句型与别人交谈，并且能够在公共场合阻止不文明的行为。
（三）情感目标
1. 通过本课的学习让学生对周围的环境和公共标志有所了解。
2. 通过本课的学习让学生对于在公共场合的正确行为有所熟悉，拒绝不文明行为。

五、学情分析
教学对象为六年级的学生。他们已经接触了三年的英语，有一定的英语基础。儿童的特性使得他们活泼好动，对新事物有着强烈的好奇心，探索知识的欲望很强烈，并且有着很强的表现欲。但由于教材特点和学生的基础不同，本课注重因材施教，分层教学，保持学生的学习兴趣，为此我将采用新颖活泼有趣的教学形式，保持并提高学生学习英语的兴趣。在本节课中我将设计一些简笔画和有趣的课件，希望能够保持学生的学习兴趣。

【设计意图：小学生的注意力是很容易分散的，因此利用课件将前面所学的标志呈现给学生，用及时复现的方式帮助学生巩固所学内容，同时用简笔画抓住学生的眼球，吸引学生的注意力，还能达到巩固的效果。】

公共标志是学生所熟悉的东西。抓住这点提起学生的学习兴趣。用should 和shouldn’t做什么来巩固练习，能让学生易于接受。
小学生是活泼好动的，在教学的过程中应时刻注意抓住学生的注意力，将教学内容细致的传授给学生，让学生在学习的过程中体会到生活中的点点滴滴。
假如在做课件时没有掌握一个度，把课件做得太过华丽，容易把学生的吸引力从课堂知识转移到欣赏课件上来，因此制作课件时应该慎重。
有老师结合自己的教学实践经验，总结出数学创新教育要做到四个“尽量”：尽量让学生独立思考；尽量让学生观察；尽量让学生人人动手；尽量让学生综合、归纳。同样，英语教学也应如此，教师必须开阔视野，要勇于探索，敢于创新，以创新精神去发现新问题，总结新经验。
