故乡的DNA

我写散文，很少用洋词儿。一是我洋词儿没学几个，二是怕人说我没念几天书，倒整成了假洋鬼子腔。今儿写的这篇东西，虽然用了洋词儿DNA，却是地道的土文章。
DNA是英文Deoxyribonudeicaeid的缩写，汉语翻译过来，是遗传基因的意思。说来惭愧，我曾是个数典忘祖的故乡贰臣，曾是吃奶骂娘的忤逆，也曾是发誓跳出农门、前脚走出去，后脚就再也不想迈回来的人。
我的贰臣，我的忤逆，同我的同龄人一样是有其原因的，那就是家乡的贫穷和不公。这些，像烫画的烙铁在我大脑的马海沟里烙下了深深的印记。先说穷，这个穷字，曾经是我和我那个时代贫下中农子弟引以为荣的字眼：越穷越光荣，越穷越革命。可到头来还是穷，穷到光脚丫子上学，穷到买不起酱油蘸盐水，穷到没衬衣换一伸手就能摸出几只虱子，穷到说不起媳妇盖不起房。不公则是使我成为忤逆的主要原因。为了跳出农门，我们那茬人的首选是当兵，有顺口溜为证：一年兵，二年党，三年复员进工厂。1965年春天，部队航校到盖县二中选招滑翔学员，我是经过几轮筛选剩下的最后两位之一。那时的我，甭提多兴奋了，我爱祖国的蓝天，晴空万里阳光灿烂，我望着天空唱啊唱的，最后的希望却像猪尿泡被猫咬了一样破灭了。原因是：政审不合格——我的姑父是现行反革命。有了这个坏姑父，我们叔伯兄弟七个一个也没当上兵。第二个不公是在盘锦油田选调还乡青年到油田当工人时，大队支书硬是让他没念中学的亲侄子顶替了我。第三个不公是县文化馆打通知大队让我去参加文学创作学习班的事，大队会计怕我耽误理发，硬是把这消息扣下了。为这事，我和大队会计吵翻了天。第四个不公是选民办教师，大队长的小姨子只读过一年民中能当民办老师，我却因朝里无人而被拒之校门之外，后来，因为那个老师干不了，才让我顶而替之。可好景不长，在教师下放时
，我又首当其冲了。直到大队长小姨子远嫁安徽，我才柳暗花明。第五个不公是一打三反时，我成了右派分子的吹捧者，被撤销校长职务，留校察看。至于入团入党选调工农兵大学生什么的那更是想也不敢想的事。面对如此种种不公，我对这个穷村子还有什么留恋呢？苍天有眼，1978年，我以31岁的高龄考上了大学。离村那天，我是不打算回头瞅的，嘴里咬牙念道：拜拜，我的穷村子！拜拜，头顶生疮脚底冒脓的村官们！可是，当我下意识地回头瞟一眼村庄时，心里却像打碎了五味瓶，各种滋味已搅得我眼泪滂沱了。
毕业后，我进了城，总算喇叭匠跌跟头——喘了一口粗气。于是，我想按城里人的模样打造自己，先是做了一套化纤面料的西服，当穿上西服上街时，我的心则怦怦跳个不停，好像满大街的人都拿眼球当弹丸往我身上射，我觉得自己成了个怪物。最难受的是扎领带，我会联想起给毛驴套套包子，自己这不成毛驴了吗？上课时，脖子给扎得溜严，捂得冒汗。干脆，脱了西服，撸下套包，轻装上课。打那儿，我再也不穿西服了，省得人家说我土老农进城——光着膀子系领带。这时，我从骨子里认了：归根到底我还是农村人，我的体内早已印满了故乡的DNA。
故乡的DNA镌刻在乡音里。我教语文课，尽量用普通话教学。可是，我那生硬的普通话怎么也掩饰不住海蛎子味儿。有的翘舌字就是把舌头尖儿咬下来也读不准。这时，我才真切折服贺知章的少小离家老大回，乡音无改鬓毛衰是多么经典。那天我和妻逛农贸市场，看到卖水虾皮的。我问：拉锅沿儿（水虾皮）多少钱一斤？卖货的汉子直了直虾米般的腰身，眼睛一亮，反问道：你是盖县的？对，我是熊岳镶红旗的。哎呀，我是鲅鱼圈镶白旗的，咱都是熊岳八大旗的，老乡，拿些吧！我当然不能白拿人家的虾皮，就冲老乡的面子我也得多
买些，那汉子给足了秤，又多抓了一些。后来，我和那汉子成了朋友，而这朋友的桥梁，仅仅是那海蛎子味儿的乡音。这海蛎子味儿，不正是故乡的DNA吗？后来，我和老伴又陆续结识了不少辽南的小贩：卖地瓜的，卖苹果的，卖海货的，有的虽然不知名不知姓，但谙熟他们的口音。有时买海鲜什么的钱不凑手，他们就不收钱，说什么时候给都行，不给也行。 故乡的DNA潜藏在梦里。随着年岁的增长，我愈加怀恋起故土来。夜晚失眠时，会眼望天棚挨家挨户从村东头老佟家数到村西头老宫家，会不厌其烦地回忆儿时的种种趣事，会在脑海里反复播放碰海的欢乐和辛劳。想正月里跟屁虫一样跟着秧歌队走，想夏天夜晚那连台唱的驴皮影，想跟小伙伴们拉蛤蟆琴的欢乐。睡梦中，一次次回到故土，回到爹娘的怀里，回到我的剃头房，回到我曾站过的讲台。唐朝诗人顾况云：故园此去千余里，春梦又能夜夜归。是啊，想家的时候，你就做梦吧。
故乡的DNA缠绕在生活习惯中。进城30年了，我始终改不了农村的生活习惯。吃不惯蛋糕牛奶，睡不得日头照腚。文友们最喜到我家聚餐，他们一致叫好的是我老伴卤的咸虾爬子，炸的蟹子酱，汆的鱼丸子和蛤蟆鱼炖花生米，还有小咸鱼大饼子。甚至年三十上坟，正月十五给先人送灯，过年供家谱的习惯我都坚守着，生怕有些许不恭。我曾写过一首自嘲诗，其中就有我是混进城里的乡下人的句子。
故乡的DNA融铸在乡情里。说来也怪，进城以后，我却时刻念起故乡的好处来。如果有人问我家乡如何，我总是介绍如何土地肥沃；如何依山傍海，冬暖夏凉；如何人杰地灵，人才辈出；如何民风淳厚，夜不闭户。用辽阳的话讲，就是净挑筐帽说。渐渐地，我的这些粉饰故乡的筐帽，竟然占领了我的记忆地盘，把那些对故乡的仇恨、偏见，被撵到马海沟的深处。而对家乡的事情有意无意地关心起来，看报听广播看电视都特别关注家乡的事，连天气预报都不放过。俗话说，好人护三屯，好狗护三邻。后来，村里陆续有人来找我办事，我是老爷庙横批——有求必应。有一回，大队会计（就是那位扣押通知的会计）的儿子二幺子拉一车鱼进城卖，天黑时找到了我，哭着说：三叔，帮个忙吧，卖不了，明儿就全臭了。我看着急得两眼猴腚红的二幺子，全忘记了他爹的坏，我二话没说，立马找到学校后勤主任，让食堂收下了。再后来，陆续有村里人来找我办事，看病的，探监的，借钱的，我总是不厌其烦，尽量叫来人满意而归。我先后三次给本家、邻居的孩子办了高三复读，而且吃住在我家，让他们如愿以偿。
故乡的DNA蓬勃在我的作品里。在我创作的散文、小说、小品、相声等作品中，自己认为满意的，都是写故乡题材的。散文《望儿山，那个古老的传说哟……》获熊岳望儿山母亲节征文一等奖；《清明蟹》获省金虎杯征文一等奖；散文集《蛤蟆琴》获省作协丰收杯银奖。我还为营口港撰写了征联出句：营口鲅鱼圈仙人岛三口开航（征上联），发表在《诗词月刊》上，这也算对家乡的一点贡献吧。2004年春的一天，我突然接到一个陌生，对方操着浓重的熊岳口音：我是高福臣。你还记得镶红旗的二宽二臣吗？我说：记得记得，你爹叫高庆宽，我爹叫郑恩宽。他俩是小学同学，咱俩也是小学同学呀！我问他是怎么想起我的，他说从《辽阳日报》上看到我写的老家的文章，就打问报社，终于和我联系上了。于是我们这两个十岁分别，五十六岁重逢的老乡又开始了交往。现在回头看看我出版的几本集子，字里行间密密麻麻布满了故乡的DNA，可以说，没有故乡，就没有我的文学创作，就没有这几本集子。
2008年秋天，我回老家，村支书——我三十几年前的学生于天灵宴请了我，并恳请我为村里写一部村志。而村志的总策划正是那位让他侄子顶替我进油田的老书记关二叔。二叔紧紧握着我的手说：德忱，当年，那件事二叔对不住你。我望着苍老的关二叔，还能说什么呢？能在晚辈面前说出这句话，已实属不易了。二叔哇，要不是你当书记一句话，当年我能当上校长吗？三侄是吃镶红旗高粱米，喝镶红旗盐碱水长大的，我有责任把村志写出来。经过几个月的走访调查，查阅资料和整理、编撰，一部近二十万字的《镶红旗村志》问世了。
当我在村委会的发布会上宣读《后记》时，全场鸦雀无声,个个注目倾听：
镶红旗村是一个历史悠久、人杰地灵的古老村庄，更是一个充满活力、繁荣兴旺的社会主义新农村。从这片土地上，走出了三位人民军队司令员，走出了珍宝岛战斗英雄，走出了翱翔蓝天的飞行员，走出了5位为国捐躯的英烈，是远近闻名的英雄村；从这片土地上，走出了共和国副部长，走出了博士、硕士、作家、医师、工程师和著名企业家，仅1977年以来，就有150
余人考入大、中专院校，是名副其实的状元村；这片土地，每年生产1500余万斤葡萄，人均纯收入1万余元，是令人羡慕的小康村；这片土地上的百姓，民风淳朴，团结友善，和谐一家，是连续多年的文明村。
在闭目构思的时候，在奋笔疾书的夜灯下，我似乎又回到了故土。那一个个熟悉而亲切的面容又浮现在眼前。是啊，是他们创造了镶红旗的昨天，不记下他们的功德，愧对祖宗啊！还有健在的老领导、老前辈，哪一块土地上没有他们流下的汗水，那一条乡路上没有他们踩出的足迹？就是这些头上顶着高粱花子、后背背着盐碱花子的老一辈，陪着我从《村志》的开头走到结尾。没有他们，何来《镶红旗村志》，没有他们，何来镶红旗的今天？
哇——一阵热烈的掌声，打断了我的宣读声。关二叔走上前：德忱，我代表镶红旗两千父老乡亲谢谢你啦！二叔毕恭毕敬给我鞠了个九十度的大躬，和我紧紧拥抱，那浑浊的老泪倾泻而出，流进我的脖颈里，他的双手颤抖着拍打着我的后背，你是镶红旗的好儿子，好儿子，好儿子呀！是的，我在编撰村志的时候，不知不觉中又和故土融合在一起了。这部村志，调动了我体内所有的故乡DNA，也印满了故乡的DNA。目前，镶红旗村已被仙人岛能源化工园区整体征用，也许，未来的镶红旗人只有从这部村志中的DNA去寻找镶红旗的蛛丝马迹，去寻找有着同样故乡DNA的乡亲。发布会结束时，我三十年前的学生——现在的村妇女主任小榕站起来说：为感谢郑老师的辛勤劳动，我把《我热恋的故乡》这首歌献给郑老师，献给大家，献给生我养我的家乡：我的故乡并不美，
低矮的草房苦涩的井水……这首歌仿佛写给我们镶红旗村的，唱得我心潮涌动，思绪万千，眼泪模糊……

仲秋，人们忙着收获，也在忙着积蓄。妇女们把自家园地里的大白菜砍倒，放在屋前三两天晒一晒，使白菜枝叶不再支棱。待白菜帮叶萎缩蔫巴些后，将大白菜收拾好，洗净，最后从锅中的清水里捞出，然后将大白菜整齐地码放在事前刷干净的缸中。一定要码一层白菜撒一层大粒盐，撒盐为防止白菜腐烂，再码一层再撒盐，待白菜码到稍出缸后，在白菜上放一石块枕压，然后加水，水将满缸则好，这样，酸菜便渍好了。每到这时，母亲总要手抹蓝围裙喃喃道：热水渍酸菜（指洗菜时的水是热水）酸的快，但爱烂；凉水渍酸菜（指洗菜时的水是冷水）酸的慢，但脆生。那渍酸菜的酸菜缸事先要放在稍暖和的地方（以便菜发酵），多半放在厨房的灶间，经过二十几天到一个月的光景，缸中的清水由白色变成灰白色，缸上面生了白衣长了醭（白色泡沫）——邻家少女飘逸的长发也是由酸菜水洗过的。发酵后，清
