Man of noble character/ says, “Learning is no end.” Indigo is extracted from the blue, yet darker than blue. Ice is congealed from water, but is colder than water. The limber is so straight that it matches the straightened sline. When burnt and curved to a cartwheel, it is able to be the standard of the dividers.

Now that it has been shaped well by processing, it will never be straightened, even though it were dried and withered by wind and the sun. Accordingly, limber can be straightened after being measured by the sline and processed by some supplementary work. Likewise, metals will be sharpened after being polished on the knife stone/hone. Hence, if a man of noble character studies extensively and profoundly and reflects on himself every day, he will become wise and reasonable and successful, behaving perfectly.

Once I pondered over throughout the day, but what I acquired was less than a moment’s learning. Once I stood on my tiptoe to overlook, yet it was better off than viewing greatly from a higher place/summit. Waving in a high place/on it/at the point, we can be seen by the people from far beyond without lengthening our own arms. Crying out into the wind/upwindedly, we are heard clearly/legibly without turning/pitching up our own tune. A man who can journey thousands of miles away, whereas depends not on his strong and quick feet, but the help of cart and horse. A man who can swim across both the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, is not a good swimmer, instead he calls help from boats. The nature of a man of noble character has no difference with the common people. He is but good at finding help from his outside.

Where the heaped-up earth becomes a mountain, there prevails wind and rain; where running waters gather widely and deeply, there give birth to dragons; where highly goodness and high moral help to build up people’s wisdom, there come the people with the Sage’s thoughts. Thus, without counting on small and unnoticeable paces, thousands of miles cannot be reached. Without plenty of accumulated fine streams, great rivers and oceans cannot be made. Steed can never cover ten paces with only one leap, screw can drive even ten days, getting to the farthest place, and the success lies in its c

ontinuous hardworking. Carving something but giving up halfway, we cannot even carve rotten wood. But if we carve with perseverance, metals and stones are able to be shaped well. For the sake of concentration, earthworm can go up to eat earth and down to drink fountain, having no sharp feet or strong bones and muscles. For the sake of distraction, crab has no place to inhabit without borrowing the curve of snake or eel, even having six feet and two pincers.

As soon as I was eolled in college I rest a big burden off my mind. So did my classmates. We just wanted to relax. But at our first English Lesson on how to improve our study the teacher told us," There is no end to learning. You can only become a top student with additional work." And she says hard work is rewarding.

The teacher’s words awakened me. In fact everyone in the world is always learning. Man’s talents are like wild plants. They need cutting and pruning with the tool of learning, we learn not only inside the classroom but also outside the classroom. Learning is a process in which man adapts to his rounding. It is driven by man's desire to win respect and to contribute to society. It is the curiosity for knowledge stimulated by knowledge itself." To learn is to be young. Not to learn is to die." This saying applies to every society and to all ages.

Indeed, everyone living on earth is learning all the time. Man learns not only from books but also from his own experience We can not hope that as long as we learn we will gain benifits. Efficient study is inseparable from good methods and motivation,

A man of a strong sense of responsibility and full of ambition is insatiable in learning. I entered the university after more efforts. I know it is only the first step on the road leading to the sea of knowledge. It is but the first page in the book of science. The further away I am off shore, the more far-sighted will be. The more you learn.,the more you feel the need to learn. Art is long, life is short.
