First thanksgiving our parents, because everyone’s life is a continuation of the parents of one blood, all of the parents gave us love, let’s enjoy the human world of happiness, so we’d thanksgiving the parents.
Teachers are our growth, are our friends, teachers care for us , their words and deeds, let’s benefit for life, we pay for teachers efforts and sweat, we’d thanks giving teachers.
Students encourage each other, help each other, overcome difficulties and setbacks, taste ofsuccess and happiness learning together, we’d thanks giving the students.

Lan and Fred
Lan and Fred were boys. They were both twelve years old, and they were in the same class in their school. Last Friday afternoon they had a fight in class, and their teacher was very angry. He said to both of them, “Stay here after the lessons this afternoon, and write your names a thousand times.” After the last lesson, all the other boys went home, but Lan and Fred stayed in the classroom with their teacher and begin writing their names.
Then Fred began crying.
The teacher looked at him and said,” Why are you crying, Fred?”
“Because his name’s Lan May, and mine’s Frederick Hollingsworth,” Fred said.
易恩和富雷得

Wings
The fried-chicken restaurant where I was working had a big rush just before closing one day, leaving us with nothing to sell but wings. As I was about to lock the doors, aa quietly intoxicated customer came in and ordered dinner. When I asked if wings would be all right, he leaned over the counter and replied, "Lady, I came in here to eat, not fly."

2. I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to someplace special. We just saw the other. We had lunch together. While we were having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. Yes! A year later, we have grown riper. And we learned much more things and got new life. We haven’t enough time to play, to waste and to lose the way. We only have two years. Two years to go, we will get the real life which belongs to us.

3. I'm a student in Senior Three. We have made a survey--"Who do you turn to when in trouble?" Here are the results.
Most of the students will go to their classroom or friends when in trouble they're almost of the same age, so they can talk with and understand each other easily. Some students will tell their teachers or parents about their troupes and ask for their help as the teachers and parents have rich
experience and love them very much. They can be trusted by these students. Only a few students solve their problems all by themselves. They hate to talk with others and can’t get on well with others. They have few friends.
In my opinion, when in trouble we’d better ask our teachers, parent, friends or classmates for help.

Ann’s Diary
Today was Sunday. Today was September 30th, 2004. It was a boring day. It was hot. I was not a work.
I watched TV all morning. The shows were boring. Then I called my friend, Nancy. She wasn’t at home. I didn’t know where she was.
At twelve I was hungry. There was not any food in the fridge. I was lazy. I was tired. Then I ate lunch outside. At one o’clock. I was in bed. In the afternoon I was at the movies. The film was boring. I'm glad tomorrow is Monday. I can go to school and see my friends.
