One night, I was wandering along the path in the forest. Suddenly, I saw a magical lamp sparkling in front of me. I was very curious about it, so I approached it cautiously. When I touched it, a genie worn a smile on his face appeared in front of me. “Hello, my little princess. You are so lovely and beautiful,” he said to me,“I appreciate your releasing me from the magical lamp. Well, I could grant you three wishes.” “Any wishes?” I asked eagerly. “Yes, any wishes. God bless me with magical power. But you should explain why you want to achieve these wishes,” he said. I thought for a moment and spoken out my three wishes: Could I have a pair of wings; Could I get a camera; If the global average temperature could stop rising. And I went further……
I've been eager to fly. Flying like a bird, I could travel around the world to enjoy the beauty of nature. I really desire to have a trip to Africa. I know a song belongs to Africa. The sun rise on your left and pass over your head to set on your right. The steeds and reindeers run and prance on the boundless prairie. The eagle of Nigang mountain glide gracefully in the sky. The full moon cast its shadow on the gravel road. Being immersed in such beautiful scenery is really a great luxury! At this moment, if Mozart's music is floating in the air, it will be more wonderful. To experience how high the sky is and how vast the sea is, flying in the sky may be the best choice. I fly freely as a mew over the blue sea. By my side, white clouds are wandering in the wind. I know almost everyone is unsatisfied with the traffic condition. With my wings, my trip will become very convenient. Valuable time and money can be saved. I don't need to wait in the queue for nearly an hour to buy an expensive train ticket and to wait for the arrival of train in a crowded train station. I don't need to take the bus. In my word, no traffic jams and no traffic lights.
I'm a person with a great love of life, and I specially long for a camera. I want to use the camera to record my growing experience. How a naughty girl grown into a vibrant youth, and then into a mature middle-aged, and finally into a wise elderly. I could record where I have been, what meaningful things I have done and those intimate friends I've encountered. One day, when I deeply immersed in the missing of those passing persons and things, several old and faded pictures may bring me comfort. Moreover, taking pictures also can record unique, meaningful or enlightening moments. Sometimes, when I admire the unique natural landscape, I believe that taking photograph is the only way to hold back these beautiful scenery. Grass sprouting, flowers opening, the dancing snowflakes, suise and sunset, all these can be recorded. A sensible boy gives his seat to an old man in public bus. A young man carefully helps an old man to cross the street. After I've shoot them down, I could put them online for people to watch. Then, everyone can feel that our world is full of love and compassion. Uncivilized behaviors, such as throw litter, also can be recorded. My aim is to eliminate these behaviors from our society.
My third wishes is the global average temperature could stop rising. A rich data shows that global warming is very real and very alarming. It was reported that as global warming progresses, the normal climate pattern is becoming more extreme. Storms, floods, droughts, heatwaves, or other extreme weather occur more frequently than ever. Hurricane hits the US mainland and the gulf coast, causing a large number of casualties and enormous property loss. Production shortfalls caused by droughts affect people's existence hugely, especially in poverty areas. The rising of the temperature also causes the melting of antarctic ice. As a result, level of the sea is rising. This makes a negative impact on coastline economies, especially coastline tourism. The salinity of surface water and groundwater will increase, affecting the supply of city water. What is more serious, coastal cities and even whole island countries would be submerged. If the global average temperature could stop rising, all disasters wouldn't happen.
When I finished at a breath, the genie asked, “Are you sure these are the three wishes you want to fulfill?” “Yes, please help me!” I said. “Okay, be eager to have wings indicates that you realize the value of freedom; be eager to possess a camera shows that you take a positive attitude toward life; hmm, your third wish displays your broad mood. Now, please close your eyes, my little prince, and I will realize your dreams. Just a moment!” the genie said. I closed my eyes, waiting hopefully. “When I was young, I listen to the radio”——You know, its the sound of my alarm clock. I opened my eyes only to find all was a dream. But, a sweet dream.

My Three Wishes
“We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope,” Martin Luther King says in his famous speech“I have a dream”, which encourages innumerable blacks to fulfill their dreams. Although the black leader suffered murder in 1969, he had significant impact on the people alive all over the world. Now, we live in a freedom, equal and peaceful circumstance that Martin is always pursuing. Do you have any wishes? If you are given chances to realize your dreams, what’s your dream? If I have the opportunity, my three dreams are as follows.
I hope that my parents are healthy forever and my family stays as happy as now. Parents are more laborious than before. Owing to the one child policy, parents pay much attention to children’s education. As a result, they spend plenty of time and energy in companying children’s growth. Besides, they often work so hard that ignoring their own health. On the one hand, the traditional concept for Chinese is that children should support their parents, on the other hand, the faultiness social security system can’t provide for all old people. The last but not the least, with the increasing age of our parents, their body function can’t operate as well as our youth. Another considerable factor is the exorbitant hospitalization costs after getting ill. The parents’ health is what I am concerned. Besides, I have the second dreams.
I expect that I can finish school and seek a job successfully. Nowadays, the demand of employment is restricted as the recessionary economic while the graduates are expand quickly in recent years. It’s difficult for us to gain the master degree. Compared with undergraduates, the courses for postgraduates are much harder. So it’s not easy to pass the final exam. In addition, writing essays and answering the questions raised by teachers during the final comment on essays are also difficult. Furthermore, what I care about is that the work is the starting for career. Finding a better job is likely to make the employment dream come true. This dream is designed for myself, but the next one is for all young people.
I prospect that the young can own houses which Chinese call it family after graduation. The high price of commercial residential building hampers young people’s dream to have a family with their lovers. The young generation who was born in the 1980’s can’t afford a house even though getting credit from the bank. However, the house is one of the indispensable material bases in the society. From the other perspective, our country’s stability is based on every small family’s harmony. That’s the third wishes I want to share.
Parent’s health, individual’s study and work and owning houses for the young are my three wishes. Maybe the young generation has the same dreams like me. In order to make the dreams come true, both the government and we should take efforts. I hope that the ordinary wishes is not the uealized wishes but the fact that everyone can see and enjoy it one day.

Parent’s health, individual’s study and work and owning houses for the young are my three wishes. Maybe the young generation has the same dreams like me. In order to make the dreams come true, both the government and we should take efforts. I hope that the ordinary wishes is not the uealized wishes but the fact that everyone can see and enjoy it one day.
篇三：Three Wishes (三个愿望)
Three Wishes
Once upon a time, there lived a woodman and his wife. They were very poor, and they lived in a cottage on the edge of a forest. Every day, the woodman would set out early in themorning to chop down trees.
As the woodman was travelling through the forest one day, he saw a fine old oak tree. "That will make plenty of planks," he thought, as he felt the blade of his axe to make sure it was sharp. He was about to strike the tree with the axe, when he heard someone crying out: "Please don't hurt this tree."
The woodman looked around him and saw a tiny fairy. "If you do not hurt this tree , " she said , "I will grant you and your wife three wishes."
"I won't hurt the tree," said the woodman kindly. Then the fairy vanished!
That evening, the woodman walked slowly home. He was feeling very hungry and could not wait for his supper.
"Is my supper ready?" the woodman asked his wife.
"Not for at least two hours, replied his wife. So the woodman sat in a chair by the fire.
"I wish I had a big black sausage to eat right now," he said out loud. And suddenly, a delicious sausage appeared on the table before him! "Why has that black sausage suddenly appeared?" the woodman's wife asked.
So the woodman told his wife the story about the fairy. But his wife was very angry. "You have wasted the first of our wishes," she said crossly. "I wish that sausage were on your nose!"
And with that, the sausage jumped up and stuck fast on the woodman's nose. His wife could not pull it off and nor could he, so the only thing to do was to wish it on the table again, which the woodman did.
What a waste of three wishes! The only thing the woodman had was a good supper of black sausage.
