由于我动手比较早，因此在10月初就签好了所有的推荐信。除了这些必备的材料，我又专门写了一份个人简历Resume和一份专业课程成绩的列表。Resume的特点就是要简明扼要，我把它精简成一页，列出了各个方面的最重要的信息，具体具体的内容，放到PS中说最好。而且我的一位美国同学建议我那些最重要的东西一定要在PS中说清楚，由于教授很可能没有时间看那些必须材料之外的东西。
漫长的等待总是令人心急如焚，不过从一月底开始我陆续接到了4个学校的口试，为平静的生活增添了一丝涟漪。最为惊险的一次口试就是Stanford的一个印度教授忽然给我打来的电话，紧张的心情和对方难懂的印度口音使我有些不知所措，但是他问的题目主要集中在我PS里面的一些内容，包括一些研究的细节，我还是比较完满的回答了他的提问，唯一遗憾的就是他在问道我对Stanford的教授哪些比较熟悉的时候，我竟然忘记了一个我们专业非常有名的人，而且我还和那个人通过email联系过，我想这对我的口试起到了很不好的影响。比起电话口试，我更喜欢面对面的口试，因此Umich的口试就比较成功，尽管对方说话的速度相当快，而且有两个人口试，我还是能够比较流畅的回答对方的题目。口试中能够表现自己的自信，那么口试可以说就成功了一半。Umich口试给我印象最深的就是他们对PS上涉及的内容非常关注，往往会刨根问底，比如我在PS中提到了丁肇中，那个口试的老师就和我聊起丁肇中为什么得诺贝尔奖了。预备Cornell大学的电话口试我费了很大的心思。我先从网上找到了他们所有我

三、 PS的结构
